This Is What 4-Year-Old
Progress Looks Like

Imani's April 2026 assessment shows number recognition, 1-to-1 correspondence, spelling, three-finger grasp penmanship, and number writing — skills the CDC attributes to 5-year-olds. Achieved at age 4 through consistent daily practice using the Dennard Montessori Homeschool method.

🔢
Number Recognition (1-to-1 Correspondence)

Correctly identifies and counts with one-to-one correspondence — a key kindergarten readiness skill achieved a year early.

✏️
Spelling & Word Writing

Traces and independently writes the word "eight" — demonstrating letter formation, phonics, and fine motor control simultaneously.

🖐
Three-Finger Grasp Mastery

Proper pencil grasp established — the foundational penmanship skill that prevents bad habits and enables fluent writing development.

Are Happening Right Now
